INTERVIEW | SIENNA ESPIE

We recently had the chance to sit down with Fashion stylist and Sol Sana muse Sienna Espie in a quick fire interview where we discussed all things fashion, seasons, styling as well as her hot tips and tricks to help step up your wardrobe game... read below...
SS: How would you describe your personal style in three words?
SE: I would say my style is forever evolving but currently, elevated, chic and accessory-obsessed.
SS: How do you stay inspired when styling a new look?
SE: To stay inspired when styling a new look, I draw inspiration from various sources such as fashion magazines, runway shows, street style, Pinterest, and Instagram. I love to experiment with shapes, textures and mixing high-quality pieces to create fresh outfits while remaining true to my personal style and exploring new trends that align with me.
SS: If you could raid one person's closet, whose would it be?
SE: Without a doubt German fashion influencer Leonie Hanne. I have followed Leonie for years and the way she styles her high fashion looks have always been inspirational to me. If I were to raid her closet I would be going straight for the entire wardrobe she has full of her designer handbags..
SS: What's your go-to outfit for a casual day outfit?
SE: I love structured trouser pants, my current favourite pair is from Camilla and Marc and they make for the perfect casual but elevated base for an outfit. I will usually pair these with a tank top or bodysuit and style with my Adidas sambas or slides. Accessories are my favourite part of styling an outfit especially if it’s a more casual look. Statement earrings, chunky gold bangles, a belt and a pair of sunglasses are must!
SS: Heels or flats?
SE: Kitten heels will forever be my favourite! So chic.
SS: How do you incorporate sustainability into your style?
SE: I prioritise investing in high-quality pieces that are not only timeless but also durable, allowing them to last for years to come. The conscious decision aligns with my belief in responsible consumerism and my desire to curate a wardrobe filled with pieces that hold value and longevity, both in terms of style and environmental impact.
SS: What’s your favourite season for fashion?
SE: My favourite season for fashion is undoubtedly winter. Despite my love for summer and dislike of the cold, winter fashion is unmatched, There's something beautiful about the creativity and versatility that comes with dressing for colder temperatures. Winter allows me to pull out my wardrobe favourites - trench coats, knee high boots and knitwear.
